Walnut Floor Maintenance Re-Oil
An engineered walnut floor in Surrey deep cleaned and re-oiled in a single day — no sanding needed.
About this project
The engineered walnut floor was only a few years old, but the oiled finish had become dry and dull in the busiest areas. There was no need to sand away any of the wear layer.
We deep cleaned the floor with a specialist intensive cleaner and lightly buffed it to open the surface. A coloured maintenance oil was then worked in with a buffing machine to restore the rich tone of the walnut.
The floor was ready for light use the same evening. We left a care kit and advice on how often to re-oil.
